Stefan is your certified technician and inspector. You can expect a thorough and conscientious inspection. He'll know if something doesn't look right. Any issues he uncovers will be brought to your attention and included in his report. Stefan will personally be on every job site to ensure that your business is cleaned to our high standards.
Our Story
Hi! I’m Stefan Hardy, and my wife Chelsea and I own Hardy Hood Cleaning Service—a certified provider of commercial cleaning services based in Grover Beach. I was a collegiate tennis player turned teaching pro, and Chelsea is a professionally trained chef and commercial insurance agent.
How did we become professional hood cleaners? We’ve always wanted to run our own business and saw an opportunity to provide a much-needed service to communities on the Central Coast of California. With Chelsea’s experience as a chef, she knows firsthand how important it is to maintain a properly cleaned commercial kitchen—and the risks of neglecting it. As an insurance agent, she also understands that restaurants must have their exhaust hoods cleaned by a certified professional twice a year to maintain their insurance policies and prevent claim denials.
So, we put our heads together, took a leap of faith, and Hardy Hood Cleaning Service was born. I became certified and trained as a kitchen exhaust hood cleaning technician and inspector. The same precision and focus that helped me on the tennis court now help me ensure kitchens are thoroughly cleaned and safe. My coaching experience also allows me to lead and train our cleaning team through even the toughest and messiest jobs.
